The Author and the Illustrator
DEFINITION: The author is the person who who writes the book. The illustrator is the person who draws the pictures for the book. HOW IT WORKS: It’s important to know who has created the "work" you are reading. We name the author and illustrator because it is their work that you are reading and looking at. HOW IT'S USED IN EVERYDAY LIFE: Authors and illustrators are used every day in books, TV, Newspapers and Internet Articles.
