Lyrics

It’s the greater than and less than

Numbers after the decimal, I count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Then it’s the greater than and less than

Numbers after the decimal, I count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

.05 or .005

Which one is greater?

That’s what you’ve got to decide

I know you think more numbers must mean bigger

But when you mess with decimals don’t let them trick you

Kind of like the opposite, more is less

I want to let you know

So, you know and don’t stress

It’s in the first then three in the other

That examples got no buck and no room though (Whew)

Something that simple

Like through the track when I bust like a pimple

or think about it this way

Which ones greater when you think about a quarter or a nickel

Ha-ha, kind of funny right? Yea

Technically a nickel’s .05 and a quarter is .25 (right)

We know which is greater and now you know why

So, a problem like that can run but can’t hide

It’s the greater than and less than

Numbers after the decimal, I count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Then it’s the greater than and less than (ugh)

Numbers after the decimal, I count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

More digits mean less with the decimal

The rest is a guess sometimes but that’s cool (that’s cool)

Just make sure you know what to do

When you see that you’re doubting the number know the rules

(right)

I make bangers and bring them to the schools

And the kids get hype when they hear all the news (get hype)

I get into it so they can get it right

And if you ain’t with the program, get a life (right)

Decimals talking about the numbers on the right

If it’s more of those then it’s less alright (yea)

Less alright, less alright, then it’s less alright

And now I think you’re ready for the test alright

Test alright, test alright (hey)

So, like time don’t fight

Cause you know everything that the decimal do

It’s the greater than and less than

Numbers after the decimal, I count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Then it’s the greater than and less than

Numbers after the decimal, I count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Count, count, count

Count them up

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths

Decimals: tenths, hundredths, thousandths
