Adjectives

DEFINTION: A word or phrase that decribes or changes (modifies) a person, place or thing. HOW IT WORKS: In the sentence: “The small, green, noisy car made a left turn. 'Small,' 'green' and 'noisy' are adjectives becasue they describe the car. HOW IT'S USED IN EVERYDAY LIFE: Adjectives are used every day when describing a person, place or thing.
